Belly on up to your kitchen island and get ready for some mano-a-mano fruitwork. Lynne just reminded me of her favorite (and highly delicious) thing to do with clementines: turn them into a salad!

Presenting Clementine-Avocado-Pomegranate Salad a la Sakura Bloom!

Here’s how you do it:

Dice up a ripe avocado. Drizzle with a little bit of lemon juice. Segment your clementines and segment a pomegranate or two (as with all my favorite recipes, proportions are up to you! Add more of the stuff you like, and less of the stuff you don’t). Put the avocado, clementines, and pomegranate together in a bowl, along with some toasted sliced almonds. Eat and be happy!

Or, put the whole mixture over mixed greens. Add a nice light vinaigrette and eat (and again be happy!)
