pad-thai3.jpgWhenever I’m in Bangkok, I have the same thing for breakfast every day: pad thai with shrimp and a banana shake.


Just thinking about it makes me hungry and happy.

For the most part, I think of pad thai as one of those foods that I should not try to make at home. But, in reading the Pad Thai for Beginners recipe on Chez Pim, one of my favorite food blogs, I’m just about ready to try.

Any recipe that advises pouring yourself a glass of Reisling as part of the instructions is good by me. That might provide just the bravado I need to take on the recipe. So, wineglass in hand, here’s to pad thai for breakfast here as well as there!
