Are you ready for a Mommy Triathlon? Adventures in Babywearing is looking for seven moms to try out three amazing Sakura Bloom slings, each for a two week period. We want you to get to know these slings, to use them as part of your everyday life, and to share your results with us in three ways: through photos, video, and writing. The mom who best represents the Sakura Bloom spirit of “the modern art of babywearing” will win a grand prize of a sustainable eco-luxury Sakura Bloom Luxe Collection Sling (msrp $540)!

We haven’t tallied up all the ticket sales yet, but it looked like it was approaching four digits at the end of the day. Hooray!
For the first time ever, we are raffling off one of our exquisite Moondance slings! Moondance is handcrafted from a rare Laotian silk produced using labor-intensive traditional weaving and dying techniques, including only natural plant dyes. Its color is sublime: a lush blue-black rippled throughout with silver. This truly unique silk is made by a community of weavers committed to keeping traditional practices alive for the next generation.
Tickets are $10 each; feel free to buy as many as you like! A portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to Machik, the Tibetan non-governmental organization that Sakura Bloom is proud to support.
The contest begins Thursday, October 23 and ends at midnight EST Thursday, October 30. The winner will be announced on Friday, October 31.
The Moondance sling will be custom made for the winner in the length of their choice.
